    Drop LTO work arounds, they now cause issues with autoconf
    
    This effectively reverts 1d2f4b859d and it seems there's LTO fixes
    upstream, if not we'll need to revisit this and get the fixes
    upstreamed so we don't have to continue to deal with this.
