Merge production branch epel8 into epel8
    
    Empty commit only required because I merged from master, then rebased. The
    master branch had skipped to updating to upstream version 27, but for EPEL 8,
    upstream version 25 is the latest that supports their version of GNOME (3.32).
    
    I wanted to keep the other basics about the repo, such as the README info, from
    the master branch, and this seemed like the easiest way to do it at the time...
