    - use https in URLs
    - supply native systemd unit
    - drop obsolete patches
    - merge Fedora-specific changes into one patch
    - use system whois client instead of bundled one

    - fix SELinux policy temporarily (#1040425)
    - document patch purpose and file/dir permissions
